Bronze sculpture artist Gerry Courtney is a native of south Texas who now resides in Chandler, Arizona with his wife Dana and their English bulldog, Ralph. He is a self-taught artist who holds a degree in Fine Arts from Sul Ross State University at Alpine, Texas. Following his retirement in 2001 from a federal law enforcement agency (DEA), Gerry founded Broken Arrow Bronze to focus his attention and efforts on helping preserve the historic old west in bronze sculpture art. Most of his collection portray the dynamics of American Indian warriors, lawmen, and gunfighters of the late 1800's. His close attention to detail and extensive research ensures that each piece is historically authentic. Although Gerry's personal passion is for the "Old West", his expertise lies in portraits. He can create bronze busts, or any figurative bronze sculpture, including life-size. Please visit the gallery to find the perfect bronze for your collection. |
